Outreach

At Trinity's outreach opportunities, the smiles come from giving, not getting.

Trinity's outreach efforts guide dancers to positive ways of spending their time, focusing their passion on community service instead of typical shopping malls and text messages. Known for their dedication and sincere concern for those around them, Trinity dancers are role models in their communities.

Internally, dancers frequently join hands to support the fundraisers of their dancing peers who are battling illnesses like leukemia, diabetes and cystic fibrosis. The support offered from their dancing family is priceless, as the recipients are motivated and inspired by the unconditional love of their close friends.  For many, their weekly dancing class gives them the opportunity to leave their struggles at the door and simply enjoy their dancing and friendships.

Public Outreach Opportunities

Trinity has always had a strong connection to the community and that connection keeps getting stronger. In early March 2009, Trinity held its first designated Outreach Day, where dancers went to local nursing homes, hospitals and day care centers. This is now an annual event that fills the community with true Irish spirit in preparation for St. Patrick's Day.

Trinity teachers also participate in outreach efforts by going to schools for high interest days to teach classes their first Irish dance steps. Participants get a 45 minute intro to Irish dance and culture and are shown a fun form of exercise. These events are in high demand!

If you are interested in having Trinity bring a show or a teacher to your school, please contact Performance Booking Manger, Carol Beveridge at carol.beveridge (at) trinitydance.com.
