Trinity's Summer Program for Beginners Ages 4 to 12
This summer Trinity is offering an introductory 3-week session that gives everyone ages 4 - 12 the opportunity to get a taste of Irish Dance! This new, six-class session is designed to introduce participants to the unique and exciting world of Irish dance. Girls and boys enrolled in the program will learn the basics of Irish dance, with proper techniques taught moving to the rhythm of Irish music. Great teachers and new friends will all make it an exciting new adventure for your child. The final class of each session will have a 15-minute Special Performance for parents!
(Illinois Students Only) At the end of the summer, after just six classes, your dancer can make their debut on the stage at Navy Pier in the pre-show to the Trinity Summer Performance on September 7th! Following this performance, your child will be invited to continue their Irish dance journey by enrolling in one of our fall classes.
(Wisconsin Students Only) At the end of the summer, after just six classes, your dancer can make their debut on the stage at the Milwaukee Marcus Center in the pre-show to the Trinity Summer Performance on August 13th! Following this performance, your child will be invited to continue their Irish dance journey by enrolling in one of our fall classes.
We are now accepting students for 'Taste of Trinity'! To secure your dancer's spot in class please complete the enclosed registration form and submit with payment to the address on the form. (Classes are subject to cancellation if there is insufficient enrollment).
Dancers may sign up for both Session 1 and Session 2.
On their first day of class, your dancer will receive their 'Taste of Trinity' t-shirt. They will need simply shorts, white socks, and gym shoes, fitted ballet slippers, jazz shoes, or Irish dance soft shoes. For safety, the dancers cannot dance in socks.
Cost for 6 week workshop is $115.00
($110 to Trinity Academy for 6 classes AND $5 to Trinity Booster Club for Taste of Trinity T-shirt).
Cost for 2 week workshop is $55.00
($50 to Trinity Academy for 6 classes AND $5 to Trinity Booster Club for Taste of Trinity T-shirt).
NOTE: Classes are subject to cancellation if there is insufficient enrollment.
Registration must be received before May 30 (Session 1) OR June 29 (Session 2), although classes may fill before the deadline. Sign - up now!
